What belongs in the brief?
Implementation, enablement and automation work that applies AI to business processes. Product research, general model development and pure presales are outside the primary selection. Technical implementation is labeled separately.
How do we check a role?
- Find the posting in the employer’s careers page or applicant-tracking system.
- Compare duties with the editorial career lanes.
- Record country, workplace mode and any stated province, travel or contracting restrictions.
- Identify the technical contribution expected. Keep unstated requirements uncertain.
- Record the employer URL, source identifier, first-published date where available, and last check.
What does “checked” mean?
The listing was published in an employer ATS and its page was accessible during the check. It does not prove the employer is still interviewing or that every detail has been confirmed by a recruiter. The employer’s full posting is authoritative for the application.
How do stale listings behave?
A listing leaves the active shortlist seven days after its latest source check or when our recheck identifies it as removed. Its notes may remain as context, with a clear stale or removed notice. The source-check date is never a substitute for the first-published date.
How do we handle uncertainty?
We do not assume that remote means worldwide, that an Architect title requires no coding, or that a missing salary can be estimated. Material conflicts or unstated terms are called out in the role notes. Original summaries point to the employer’s complete requirements.
The starting research
The September 15–16, 2026 research examined a purposive selection of employer and aggregator listings. It established relevant inventory, not a representative labor-market census or recurring hiring rate. The public first look uses a smaller editorial shortlist drawn from that review.
Editorial independence
The first look has no paid placements. Any future sponsored role or affiliate relationship will be labeled. We do not accept job applications on behalf of employers or guarantee interviews or employment.
A correction or a changed role?
The employer source appears on every role page. Check it before applying. If the public launch goes ahead, the brief will publish a dedicated contact address for corrections and subscriber support.
